Three lead at 16 under

SANYA, China -- Ryder Cup stars Colin Montgomerie and Paul Casey shared a one-stroke lead with Thailand's Chawalit Plaphol on Saturday after three rounds of the TCL Classic.
Montgomerie, the defending champion from Scotland, and Casey of England shot 4-under-par 68s while Chawalit had a 66, leaving the three at 16-under 200 entering the final round in this resort city. Chawalit rallied after a slow start by chipping in for an eagle-2 on the seventh hole.
One shot back at 201 were Denmark's Thomas Bjorn and Australia's Terry Pilkadaris after rounds of 68.
Montgomerie bounced back from three consecutive bogeys on his front nine with birdies on Nos. 17 and 18. He captured this tournament the last time it was held in 2002 With a top-two finish, Montgomerie will earn a spot in The Players Championship next week and potentially the Masters next month.
Mexico's Alejandro Quiroz, the second-round leader, shot a 72 and was among four players at 202.
